NaturZone Pest Control had its beginning in 1988 in Southwest Florida. A pest control service program was developed which specialized in providing cockroach control to healthcare facilities using a natural, non-allergenic, and virtually non-toxic product - boric acid powder.

Over the next few years, that program was expanded to include all household pests and a variety of products. Besides the challenge of growing a fledgling business, the major challenges during this period were scrutinizing and selecting products on the basis of human and environmental safety, and then devising a method of providing effective service using only such products - boric dusts, soaps, and baits. Strictly adhering to the discipline of Integrate Pest Management in the use of natural and non-allergenic products resulted in a highly effective pest control program which began to be enthusiastically welcomed by the healthcare industry.

The response to this program resulted in the steady acquisition of prestigious clients and a consistently high annual growth rate, so that by 1997 it became obvious that this service program needed to be brought to every community in this country, and that it would be enthusiastically received wherever it went. A trademark was secured on the name NaturZone, and now franchises are available to qualified individuals.
